About my paintings:
These are fireworks on a hot July night. These are men with red bandannas tied around their necks as they run through the cobble stoned streets of Pamplona trying to avoid the sharpened horns of injured bulls that are driven by hundreds of years of a brutal tradition. These are those bulls. These are the distortion of color and shape that happens in your minds eye, a furious explosionof contained expression. They begin with a mixture of paint and emotion and end with a broken paint brush being tossed to the floor.

About me:
I am a self taught artist and have been working as a graphic artist for 19 years. I started painting as a way to be creative away from the computer generated art I am involved in on a daily basis. The materials I use are usually acrylic on canvas or wood but I have recently been using oils and mixed mediums. My paintings are abstract and deal with a range of different subjects but are mostly emotionally inspired. Converting a personal feeling into a shared experience without the use of words is what I hope to achieve with my paintings.
